I Keep Seeing SDG on Your Pages
What
does it mean?
Johann Sebastian Bach, who had a clear view of God's calling in his life,
lived, worked, and composed for the glory of God. If anyone had a right to
gloat in his attainments, it was he. He came from a long line of musicians
and achieved praise in his lifetime and lasting acclaim after. Yet at the
end of every masterpiece he sketched the letters SDG, which stands
for.""Soli Deo Gloria - to God alone be glory.

We too can experience the joy of furthering the purposes of Christ if we
accept His secure and significant purpose for us as sufficient and surrender
our lives to His glory and gain.
A friend I know once defined "humility" for me this way: Being willing to be
known for the abilities God has given you.
I'm better at some things than I am at others.
For the things I'm not yet very good at,
He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it. (Phil 1:6 KJV)
For the things I'm good at
"Soli Deo Gloria - to God alone be glory."
